Depending on the desired length of the course, the choice of modules includes topics such as:

- Overview of wrongful termination

- Overview of the major employment discrimination laws and how to incorporate best practices into people management
- Overview of unlawful workplace harassment and harassment prevention
- Information security (confidentiality, employee privacy and appropriate use of electronic communication systems)
Each module is designed to demonstrate how the issues are implicated every day at work and how to use effective communication skills to address them. Your company's policies, values and employment philosophies are incorporated to personalize the training experience. Particular attention is paid to issue spotting, sound management practices, practical application of the material and using effective communication skills. Large and small group discussions are used for problem solving, based on real life case examples and scenarios.
You can select some or all of the modules to suit your training objectives and each module can be customized to include some of the relevant state laws. New modules can also be added, such as Sound Hiring and Promotion Practices, Best Practices in Performance Management, or Best Practices for Discipline and Terminations.
The harassment portion of the course is an overview of the major forms of unlawful harassment. But it can be re-designed to address applicable state training requirements about unlawful sexual harassment.
